The Vermont State Library provides a full access subscription to Ancestry.com for those visiting the Library. Vermont residents can also research Vermont birth, marriage, and death records from 1909-2008 on Ancestry.com for free if they first sign up for a MyVermont.gov account. Vermont Genealogy Library

The VT Genealogy Library is located on Hegeman Avenue in Dupont Hall at the Fort Ethan Allen in Colchester, VT.  The Vermont Genealogy Library offer classes, resources and specialized research help.  They are home of the VT French-Canadian Genealogical Society.

The Geneology Library does not have a phone number, however, their hours are as follows:

Tuesday 3:00 p.m.-9:30 p.m. (Jan. -Dec.)

Saturday 10:00 a.m-4:00 p.m. (Sept.-June)

Open 2nd Saturday of the month 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. (July-August)
