MFCC Baby Steps: New Parents Group

Baby Steps is a 6-week series of group meetings & discussions for parents in their first year of parenting. Participants will be provided with a space to connect with other new parents to share experiences, learn from each other, and discover additional resources to navigate the adventure of parenthood.

6-Week Series, all 10-11AM:
January 6th – Introductions
January 13th – Breaking Parenting Norms
January 20th – No group due to holiday
January 27th – Parenthood & Mental Wellbeing
February 3rd – Setting Boundaries as a New Parent
February 10th – New Parent Self-Care
February 17th – No group due to holiday
February 24th – Final Group Reflections & Celebration
March 3rd – Makeup date (if needed)

Please note:
Free gifts will be given to participants each week, and those who attend 5 of the 6 sessions will be offered an Amazon gift card at the completion of the series. Babies are welcomed to attend group with parents. MFCC Playgroup happens on-site at the same time for any additional children aged 1-5. Light snacks will be provided each week.

This group will be facilitated by Christine Lynch, who is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and serves as Milton Family Community Center’s Family Support Program Manager. She’s also a mom!
