eBooks and eAudiobooks

eBooks and eAudiobooks are available to Milton Public Library patrons for free using OverDrive.

First, create an account at:

  • OverDrive.com  for any user on a Windows or Mac computer.
  • OverDrive’s Libby app – recommended for Android, iOS, Windows 10, and some Chromebooks.
  • The original OverDrive app – available for iPhone, iPad, Android, Chromebook, Windows 8 & 10, and Kindle Fire HD.

Your username is your library card number, and your password is your last name, all lower case.

OverDrive is your 24/7 collection.  Even when the library building is closed, you can borrow a book, an audiobook, and read-along eBooks for kids and young adults.  OverDrive even offers the Dyslexie font option, which helps those with dyslexia read better.

You can borrow Kindle Books to read on Kindle devices or Kindle reading apps.  Details are available on OverDrive’s “Getting Started with Kindle Books from Your Library” page.

OverDrive provides getting started guides, videos, how-to articles, troubleshooting tips, and more on OverDrive Help.

And, of course, you may always call Milton Public Library at 802-893-4644.
