First, download the app onto your device or go to hoopla.com.

You will need to provide an e-mail address, create a password, and have your library card number ready.  The free mobile app can be found in the App Store and the Google Play store.

Your username is your library card number, and you create your own password.

Hoopla is your 24/7 collection.  Even when the library building is closed, you can borrow an ebook, an audiobook, a movie or listen to music instantly.  There are no holds.  On mobile devices, borrowed materials can be temporarily downloaded and accessed offline via the app or on a computer.  Hoopla also works with Roku, Chromecast, Fire TV, and Apple TV devices.  As a Milton Public Library cardholder, you may borrow up to 4 items per month.

Hoopla provides answers to frequently asked questions,  trouble shooting tips, and more on hoopla Help.

Hoopla resources are provided to Milton Public Library patrons through Midwest Tape, of which Milton Public Library is a member.
