Alzheimer’s Assoc. VT Chapter Educational Series: Understanding Alzheimer’s and Dementia

Alzheimer’s Association Vermont Chapter Educational Series 

Know the 10 Signs:  Early Detection Matters – 6 – 7:30 p.m.  Tuesday 10/9.    Learn about the warning signs of Alzheimer’s, what to do if you see the signs in yourself or someone you love, getting a diagnosis, and medication options.

Understanding Alzheimer’s and Dementia – 6 – 7:30 p.m.  Tuesday 10/16.  Learn the difference between normal aging and dementia, how the brain works, the different stages of Alzheimer’s, and the programs and services offered by the Alzheimer’s Association.

Dementia Conversations: Driving, Doctor Visits, Legal & Financial Planning – 6 – 7:30 p.m.  Tuesday 10/23.  Learn how to talk with your family, including the person with signs of dementia, about some of the challenging and often-uncomfortable topics related to Alzheimer’s and dementias, including driving, doctor visits, and legal and financial planning.
