On Saturday, Sept. 18 at 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., the Friends of the Library will be having a book and bake sale outside in front of the library (if raining, the sale will take place in the town lobby).  Library canvas book bags will also be for sale as well as baked goods. Proceeds benefit the library.  Cash or check only.  Masks are required.

In addition, stop into the library to see all of our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) kits for patrons to check out. There are 18 in all for ages 4 & up.

STEM kits are available to Milton residents, Homecard patrons, and patrons who have a nonresident card. Borrower’s accounts must be in good standing.  When you check out a STEM kit, you will receive a carrying case, a list of contents, books, and items relating to the STEM kit. The loan period is two weeks. It may be extended for another two weeks, if it’s not on hold for another patron. Patrons can check out one STEM kit at a time.

You will also have an opportunity to see all of the themed book kits, and other items available for check out (guitars, telescope). Come see them up close and check them out!

A complete listing of all 18 STEM kits can be viewed here.
