Summer reading programs are designed to encourage youth to keep reading during summer vacation, preventing what’s come to be called the “summer slide,” according to the Collaborative Summer Reading Program.  For many families, the public library is the only community space available during the summer months where they can access free educational and cultural enrichment activities and programs.

While Milton Public Library’s building is closed to the public due to COVID19, we’ve planned online and at home summer reading activities for all ages. You can register online, then download and print reading logs, activity forms, and BINGO sheets.  You may also request them for curbside pickup.

Everyone is eligible for prizes, generously provided by the Friends of Milton Public Library.

Summer Reading BINGO

Once you get BINGO, you’re eligible for our monthly drawing.  Mail, email (a scan or photo), or deliver to our book drop behind the library your BINGO card.  You must be 18 or older, and have a Milton Public Library Card or a Home Card to participate.  The Friends of Milton Public Library is generously providing the prizes. We will notify winners by telephone.
