Daycrafter’s Club

One-on-One Computer Classes
6 – 7 and 7 – 8 p.m. 1st & 3rd Mon. & Wed. monthly. Our volunteer tutors will structure your session around your needs. Sign-up required.

Adult Coloring Club
6:30 – 8 p.m. Wed. 1/9, 2/13, 3/13, 4/10.  Supplies provided, or bring your own.

Medicare Made Clear
10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Sat. 1/19. A licensed agent will answer questions for those soon starting Medicare and those wanting to learn more. Sign-up requested.

Resume Writing and Cover Letters
6:30 – 8 p.m. Tues. 1/22. Learn how to customize your resume and cover letter using the library’s free Career Transitions database.

Friends of the Library Chili Cook-Off
11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Sun. 2/10.  Sample the chilies, vote for the best, and then have a cup of your favorite.  Chilidogs, corn bread, rolls, and beverages included with your donation.  Call the library to register as a competitor.

Genealogy Workshop
10 – 11:30 a.m.  Sat. 2/16.  A Vermont Genealogy Library staff member will present tips for using genealogy websites.

Home Exchange and Low-Cost Travel
10 – 11:30 a.m. Sat. 3/9.  Julia Blake will share her experience in utilizing home exchange to travel economically and comfortably. Sign-up required.

Vermont Astronomical Society
6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Wed. 4/3.  Watch a presentation by the Vermont Astronomical Society, and then use their telescopes to view the night sky, weather permitting. Sign-up required.

Everything You Want to Know about Medical Marijuana
6 – 7:30 p.m. Tues. 4/23. Champlain Valley Dispensary will present the history and science of medical cannabis in the U.S., Vermont’s requirements for use, and the types of products available.  Sign-up requested.
