Snowshoes
Thanks to a grant funded by Vermont Department of Health‘s 3-4-50 initiative or Rise VT, the library has 10 snowshoes to lend out to Milton residents. The following are the snowshoe sizes:
1 pair – Size 30″ for 200 – 250 lbs.
3 pairs – Size 25″ for 150 – 200 lbs.
2 pairs – Size 21″ for 100 – 150 lbs.
4 pairs – Size 16″ for 25 – 100 lbs.
The snowshoes are available to Milton residents at least 18 years old who have had a library card and whose account is in good standing. When you check out the snowshoes, you will also receive a canvas carrying bag containing snowshoes and poles. The Library Board of Trustees approved the following snowshoe loan policy.
